A Mindfulness Guide to Emotional and Focus Balance

$400This course provides the relative theoretical and practical skills within mindfulness and is related to emotional exploration as well. The well-developed curriculum is based on understanding the development of youths’ physical and psychological characteristics, existing strategies of mitigating emotional distress from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and targeted mindfulness teaching techniques for youths. Additionally, a creative component is from the Buddhist teaching of investigation (dhamma-vicaya), which provides an easy-to-use way to pursue a deeper process behind the mindful experience.
Course Details:
Starting: Thursday June 25 6-8pm
In-person 8 – session course at Trent University’s Peterborough Symons campus
8 weekly sessions from 6 PM – 8 PM including a trip to the Wutai Shan Buddhist Garden for the eighth class.
