Welcome to the Peterborough Women’s Business Network!
I am so grateful for the opportunity to serve as WBN President for a second year! Since joining the WBN, I have made so many friends and connections within the community. I have learned about so many different local businesses, had the opportunity to collaborate with other members, and built on my skills through our speakers and presentations. I love that I run into WBN members wherever I go - we are everywhere!
I am really looking forward to the 2025-6 year. This year's focus is on community. In this time of strife and competition, we need to come together as a community to support and encourage eachother. My wish for this year is to involve different aspects of the Peterborough community into our meetings and network. We can work together, share ideas, and have successful businesses, because we are all unique and offer different things to our customers. I hope that this year will encourage our members to get creative, collaborate, and see how we can create a community!
Joining the WBN has many benefits, including personal and professional development, networking, and meeting like-minded entrepreneurs with whom to share the ups and downs of being a business woman. Whether you are a solo-entrepreneur, or you belong to a larger organization, we have something for you!

About WBN Peterborough
The Women’s Business Network of Peterborough (WBN) is a networking channel for women who wish to enhance and expand their business contacts and grow their businesses.
Formed in 1961 as the Peterborough Chapter of the Canadian Advertising and Sales Association, the network has evolved into a dynamic and growing membership of women with diverse backgrounds and careers who meet to share their knowledge and experience and promote their businesses.
Network members are entrepreneurs, business owners, professionals, administrators, writers, media representatives, computer specialists and health care providers, to name a few.
From September to June, a diverse program of learning, sharing and socializing is provided for members. Guest speakers, trade shows, special events, and gala socials make the WBNÂ the premier network for women in the Kawarthas and surrounding areas.
