French as a Second Language – Level 3

In just 6 weeks, this interactive micro‑credential will help you communicate with more ease, understand familiar language more reliably, and express yourself more clearly in routine situations. You will learn to: talk about recent activities and simple future plans; handle slightly more detailed everyday interactions; understand familiar messages and short conversations; read and write slightly longer and better‑connected texts; expand your awareness of French‑speaking cultures; use digital tools to support independent learning.

Course Details:
Online 6-week course (June 1 – July 10)
Approximately 2-3 hours of online asynchronous instruction/practice per week, with a 1-hour remote conversation 6-7 PM every Wednesday with the instructor, plus assignments

Prerequisites:
Completion of FREN / FRSL 1020 or completion of a placement test.
