Governance

Formed in 1961 as the Peterborough Chapter of the Canadian Advertising and Sales Association, the Women’s Business Network of Peterborough (WBN) has evolved into a dynamic and growing membership of women with diverse backgrounds and careers who meet to share their knowledge and experience and promote their businesses.

The network is run by an elected volunteer Board of Directors. This group of up to 13 women meets monthly to formulate the plans and deal with the business of the network. The board is elected by the members at the Annual General Meeting in May. Click here to learn more.

Constitution

The Constitution is the WBN’s guiding policy and governs all members and directors. As a WBN member, you have agreed to abide by these principles and we encourage you to read it thoroughly.

Every five years, the WBN Board is mandated to form a Constitution Committee to review this important document and bring recommendations for an updated charter forward to the membership. The most recently updated document was approved by the membership at the AGM in May 2013.
